There I lie
sta88ed in the chest.
I'm not ready to die;
I don't want to rest.
I wish to see the 8lue 8oy
draped in his hood.
If only could.
I wish to see his smile.
Oh, how it shines a million miles.
If only I could.
8ut I can't
8ecause here I lie,
sta88ed in the chest.
8ut I'm not ready to die.
8ut I don't wanna rest.
I wish that he could know,
know the truth I never told.
Turns out I'm not so 8old.
If only I could,
a voice said I should.
8ut of course I o8jected.
I just knew I'd 8e rejected.
Now here I lie
sta88ed in the chest.
I think I hear him cry,
"Please don't die.
It's not your time to rest."
Then I sigh
and say, I wish you the 8est.
If only I could.
8ut I can't
I can't love him,
can't hug him,
I can't even say hi.
8ecause here I lie,
sta88ed in the chest
It's just my time to die,
just my time to rest.

So, this is like my very first poem I've ever written since first grade. Its about Vriska dying and never being able to see John in person ever. In my opinion its not very good, but, that's up for you guys to decide. I had SO many drafts cause I wrote with pen and when I made the tiniest mistake I got a new sheet. Anyway, I only thought of the beginning of it and the rest just flowed into my mind! Poetry is something I'm not the best at, so I guess this is me trying something new! Tell me if you guys like it, talk to you l8ter!
